Terry Kane
Physiotherapist
Terry Kane has been a licensed physical therapist in Calgary since
graduating from the University of Toronto in 1985. During his career he
has held positions as the Head Physical Therapist for Canada's Olympic
Ice Hockey Team and the Calgary Flames, Injury Analysis Consultant to
the National Hockey League and worked with over 500 Olympic and
professional athletes at facilities such as the University of Calgary
Sports Medicine Centre and in private practice. In addition to his
clinical work, Terry has published and lectured internationally on
injury prevention and exercise based rehabilitation. In 2006,
Terry joined the Calgary Health Region's Chronic Pain Centre to
facilitate the development of a functional rehabilitation model and
patient education programs for patients with chronic musculoskeletal
pain. Since then, Terry has lectured on Exercise and Chronic Pain
internationally and developed education materials for MAINPRO-C
workshops in Chronic Pain for Family Physicians on behalf of the
Chronic Pain Centre and The University of Calgary. Terry remains active
as an editorial peer reviewer for the Clinical Journal of Sports
Medicine and The Physician and Sports Medicine, as an Advisory Board
Member to CanFitPro and in writing and lecturing to both the medical
and fitness communities. Terry brings Copeman Healthcare clients
