Jessica Owen

Physiotherapist

Jessica has a strong background in rehabilitation, graduating with a Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia after completing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University. She is an experienced physiotherapist having worked in numerous orthopedic and sports physiotherapy clinics. Jessica is licensed in acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute and is currently pursuing her diploma in manual and manipulative therapy through the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy.
Her education goals include completing her Masters of Clinical Science in Manipulative Therapy from the University of Western Ontario. She has years of experience working as a trainer with local sports teams, including numerous seasons working with elite level lacrosse players. In 2006, Jessica had her work published on anterior cruciate ligament injury prevention by way of neuromuscular training programs and lectures on this topic.
